River Alliance Events

Saving rivers isn't all about policy and public meetings...it's also about fun. Every year, the River Alliance of Wisconsin hosts outings to rivers around the state, a celebration honoring great river achievements and a night of environmentally-themed films, much more.

2012 Wild and Scenic Film Festival - March 13, 2012 - for our film festival at a new location next year - the Barrymore Theater.

2012 Spring Confluence - Each year, the River Alliance gathers river supporters from all over the state for it's annual Spring Confluence celebration. The "Confluence", as it's referred to, celebrates the previous year's victories in river protection and preservation.  May 19, 2012 - at the Madison Club in downtown Madison.  See our previous River Champions here.


Make A Date With A River!
 - From north or south, small or big, two hours or two days, urban or wild – we provide lots of fun opportunities to enjoy Wisconsin's rivers!  Our Make A Date with a River events are over for 2011, but keep an eye out in early 2012 for more fun river fun.These events are sponsored and organized by the River Alliance and intended for anyone interested in experiencing a river and mingling with the people who love them.  Summer 2012 TBA
