Description
This is our fourth annual food-and-water event, by which we feature farmers and agriculturalists doing good things by and for the rivers. This year we feature Cedar Grove in Plain, Wisconsin. We'll tour Cedar Grove's facility, see the cheesemaker's amazing Living Machine (a working ecosystem that processes the factory's waste water and discharges clean water into Honey Creek), and then indulge in some great cheese, as well as other local edibles and potables.
Meat provided by Willow Creek Farm, and prepared by Nutshell Catering.
Additional food provided by Whole Foods Market, Willy St. Coop, and other area businesses.
Where: Cedar Grove Cheese, Plain, WI
When: Saturday, July 21, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Cancellation Policy
We would be happy to refund your registration fee if you need to cancel up to 72 hours before the event. If you cancel within 72 hours, we are unable to refund the fee, but we will consider it a donation to the River Alliance and send you a receipt so it is tax deductible. If River Alliance cancels the event, you will receive a full refund. (Of course, if you want to make that payment a donation, we’d happily accept it.)
