Description
This popular event, co-hosted by Milwaukee Riverkeeper, sells out, so let us know soon if you want to come along on one of the state’s most unique paddling experiences – from river to Great Lake and back again, in the shadow of skyscrapers and under the light of the full moon. For those interested in a bite or a drink afterwards, we will be convening at Trocadero, a nearby restaurant on Water Street.
When: Thursday, August 2nd; 6:15 p.m. registration, food; 7 p.m. paddle; 9:30 p.m. take out
Where: Milwaukee Rowing Club will be both our put-in and take-out spot, so no shuttling will be required.
Cost: $25
What’s provided: a light meal and beverages
What to bring: your own canoe/kayak and PFD, LIGHTS (we will be paddling in the dark, so if you have small flashlights, head lamps or bike lights, bring them along), water (beverages will be provided, but not bottled water), snacks (if necessary). Please, no alcohol.
Cancellation Policy
We would be happy to refund your registration fee if you need to cancel up to 72 hours before the event. If you cancel within 72 hours, we are unable to refund the fee, but we will consider it a donation to the River Alliance and send you a receipt so it is tax deductible. If River Alliance cancels the event, you will receive a full refund. (Of course, if you want to make that payment a donation, we’d happily accept it.)
